We are happy to invite our community and all who are in the area to attend house concerts at Noble House Inn.  You are always welcome to arrive from 6 pm on and the concerts begin at 6:30 and go until around 8:30 with a break about halfway through generally.  Please RSVP by email as seating for the inside concerts is limited to 30 and if the weather is bad, the summer concerts have to move inside and the first to rsvp will be attending. Please be courteous to the guests for the inn and leave the front parking lot available for them.  There is parking in the back and alone the street in the summer and my neighbors don’t mind!  For the winter, I will have cones out reserving the spaces I need for guests and you can park anywhere that is available.  The summer concerts [June, July, and August] are outside, weather permitting, so please bring blankets, chairs, and bug spray - whatever you need to be comfortable.  Light snacks, wine, water, and sodas are available for purchase and you are welcome to bring your own snacks, drinks or picnic BUT NO ALCOHOL please!  - my liquor license does not permit it!  Come enjoy the music!!!  There is a link provided for each artist which provides more information and music samples from each performer.  If you want to be on the mailing list for concerts ONLY - please let us know by email and we will let you know each time a house concert is coming here.

Anni Clark  Thursday, June 14   6:30 - 8:30 pm on the North Lawn

Anni Clark is no stranger to the Lakes Region. One of her first ever performances took place in 1979 in Naples, in a venue called Albert’s House of Fine Food, defunct now for quite some time. It was an open mic night, Anni knew four songs on the guitar, three of them she had written just recently. The audience loved her, she loved the audience and Anni was hooked. In 1981, she quit her day job to pursue a full-time career in music.

Anni is a Maine native who, since that fateful open mic night, has recorded seven successful albums including Anni Clark LIVE, recorded right here in the Lakes Region at Deertrees Theatre in Harrison. The CD earned her a nomination for the Texas Music Awards “Female Vocalist of the Year.” She was a two-time finalist in the well-known Kerrville TX Folk Festival Songwriters’ Competition and she won both “Female Artist of the Year” and “Folk Artist of the Year” in New England’s Jam Music Magazine’s Readers’ Pix Awards. Her touring took her from Maine to Florida, Texas, Louisiana and Nantucket repeatedly over the course of 23 years.

Maine's Kennebec Journal wrote about Anni, “she can have you laughing one moment and close to tears the next with the honest emotions in her material.” Face Magazine wrote “not only does Clark continue to write and perform great songs about this thing called life, she does so with a quiet grace.” Over the years, she has shared stages with international acts including Shawn Colvin, Richie Havens, Tom Rush & Cheryl Wheeler.

In the interest of integrating her love of music and writing with her desire to be a positive influence in the lives of others, Anni began teaching in 2004. After 12 years in the field of education, all the while performing on weekends and during school vacations, she retired to become a full-time singer-songwriter once more. Supporting her strong melodic vocals with both 6 and 12 string guitars, Anni continues to build a faithful fan base, at home and afar. Her blend of folk, pop and blues with a dash of “Maine Hue-mah” is infectious for all ages.
